*Morning prayer is held Mon-Fri, 8:00 am in the conference room.

*As we move forward with livestreaming and start to expand our capabilities, we want to ensure those who may be less than experts can quickly and easily utilize this new service. How to documents are located in the member only section of the church's website.

*There is a "Children's Moment of Worship" posted every Sunday Morning. Watch it with your child(ren) anytime and feel free to scroll through and watch past ones.

* Remember the sign in/out practice for anyone coming to the church. Please check in at the office first before going to an area to work. Also, please remember, masks are required when entering the church building.

*All committees and groups who are meeting in the church are reminded of the church's mask practice. Social distancing must be implemented. Hand sanitizer needs to be made readily available & utilized and finally, please clean the area you are using after your meeting/gathering is over (spray down seats, wipe off surface areas, etc.)

*Men’s Bible Study has resumed. Men's Bible Study is Monday nights, 7pm in the Conference Room.

*We are starting to better utilize the "Member Only" section of the church's website. This will be an ongoing process for a couple of months. We will update the information for you; all you need to do is fill out the form and send it back. Please take a moment or two to fill out the information so we can make the member section better for everyone. You can find the form at https://www.cedarfallsbaptistchurch.org/member_update. A special thank you to everyone who has already sent theirs; you're awesome! We will be posting a how to document in the next week.

*We held a September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11th. If you missed it, you can watch it in its entirety at https://youtu.be/HWcQfdKTfb8

*Wednesday Night activites are every Wednesday Night (unless otherwise announced):

  • Adult Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall. Livestream begins 5:45 pm. Study begins at 6pm. It will be transmitted to the parking lot and can be heard on FM 87.9
  • Youth Bible study will be held in Youth Haven. Doors open at 5:45pm. Study begins at 6:00 pm.
  • Choir practice will be held in the fellowship Hall. Practice begins at 6:45 pm.

*The Youth will have a Mission Saturday tomorrow,  Saturday, Sept. 19th, 10am - 2pm. Youth will meet in Youth Haven.

*Some areas of the church are closed off due to construction. Other areas are closed off due to safety. We ask if you enter the building you respectfully remain in the area reserved for the church service. At this time, we are asking that no one enter the sanctuary. (Peeking in through the doors in the hallway is OK as long as there is no caution tape across them or no keep out signs posted.) We are at a point in the construction process where we need to be cautious in the and around the construction zone at all times.

*The choir will be fitted for new choir robes this week. Our Murphy Robe consultant, Cheryl Burgess will make herself available to us on Wednesday, September 23.  In addition to helping us measure for robes she will have a few samples for us to try on. Mr. Marty anticipates  most being there for rehearsal, if you are not able to be there because of a conflict, the music committee will be present on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 to make sure that everyone has a chance to be a part of this great event.   If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Marty.

*The Youth will leading a "Pray for Our Nation" Walk or Drive thru in conjunction with Franklin Graham's Washington Prayer March 2020 on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 12-2. You can walk thru and pray at each of the walk thru prayer stations or you can drive thru and stop and pray at the drive thru prayer stations. There will also be the option of just coming in the parking lot to pray or having someone pray with you. More details will be posted next week and a volunteer sign up for anyone wishing to man a prayer station will be available. Help us spread the word. We need to pray for our country!

*The Baptist Men are planning their next monthly Baptist Men Breakfast for Saturday, Oct. 10th. It will be held on the softball field. Look for more details and make plans to join them!

*The information and volunteer sign up for the youth virtual classrooms will be posted and sent out tomorrow morning in its own email. Please take a moment to open it up and see if there is anywhere you can support this program - even if it is just to pray. Let us show our youth we support them.

*We will be sending out sign up information for the tentative services planned for 8:30 and 11am the first Sunday we are in the newly remodeled sanctuary. There will also be sign up sheets posted on the bulletin board outside of the Fellowship Hall. Details regarding this highly anticipated day will be sent as soon as they are finalized. Also, we are making plans for a very special viewing of the sanctuary for those who have been unable to attend services due to compromised health issues as well as creating "safe" rooms for them to be able to sit in church building and view the service live without fear (with every possible percaution and measure being taken.)  We will be sharing those details next week. These measures are not for anyone who has attended since March but instead for our members such as Mr. Dan Sr, Ms. Boswell, Mr. Henry & Sandy, Mr. Clarence & Ms. Janie, Ms. Mavis, Ms. Linda, Ms. Martha, Ms. Debbie x2, Mr. Gerald, Mr. Marvin & Ms. Peggy, The Whittingtons, Ms. Joyce, Ms. Betty, Ms. Butch. There are a few more names but you get the idea. We will also make a procedure for those who only attend in the parking lot and who wish to come inside just to see the sanctuary. We will be reaching out to each to ensure we accomodate specific needs and have an understanding on both sides of expectations.  We love our church family and this occassion calls for us to come together and go the extra mile because, well, that is what families do. If you know of someone who you want to be sure is included, if we included you and you don't wish to be included, if you feel led to help us with this endeavor and you are NOT a youth (over the age of 21) and are under the age of 70 with no pre-existing medical conditions, please email me directly at itt@cedarfallsbaptistchurch.org. Please reach out to me directly if you have questions, comments or concerns.

*We are a welcoming church. Be sure on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings you help share the love of Christ with visitors and new members - while social distancing of course. Encourage them to fill out our digital vistors card, located on the church's website at www.cedarfallsbaptistchurch.org if they haven't already, introduce yourself and encourage them them to plug in where they can. This is true for those who come in person or you share with online and in the parking lot. Be a Barnabas!

*We have groups you can join and follow on both the main church and student facebook pages. Please take the time to check one or all of them out. Also, check out the church sign; it changes all the time.

*Don't forget to check out Mr. Marty's blog. It is updated weekly. You can find it on facebook or the church's website or by clicking here:https://www.cedarfallsbaptistchurch.org/martys_blog
