I was born in Fayetteville, NC and raised in Linden, NC were I still live. I have been at Cedar Falls Baptist Church since 1980. I accepted my Lord and Savior in 1985 at the age of 12. For those of you that do not know, my parents are Steve & Mavis Blanchard and they have been long time, active members of Cedar Falls Baptist Church as well.
I have been married to my husband, Brian Thompson, since May 14, 2005. Our blended family has 5 children (2 boys, 3 girls), 2 dogs we rescued and a cat that someone abandon we now take care of.
I graduated from Fayetteville State University in May 2004 with my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Sociology minor. I then continued my education at Liberty University and graduated in August 2014 with my Master of Science in Criminal Justice - Public Administration. I have been working as a full-time paralegal for almost 18 years.
